Anne Hulme Obituary

Anne E. Hulme, 88 years, formerly of Allentown, passed away on Sunday, December 27, at The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Ronald C. Hulme. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John and Maude (Chalfont) Rodgers. She graduated from Allentown High School and Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in New York City. Anne worked for the former John F. Moore Agency for 16 years and then retired to raise a family. Later she returned to work for the former Wiener & Co. Ins., retiring in 1991. Anne was a member of Jordan Lutheran Church in Orefield. Survivors: Son, Peter of Emmaus and daughter, Susan of Philadelphia. Her brother, Lt. Harold Rodgers was killed in WWII and is buried at the American Military Cemetery in Normandy, France, where Anne traveled to several times. Services: Private. Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
