Anthony Fragnito Obituary
Anthony S. Fragnito Sr., 79 of Prospect Street, Whitehall, died Saturday morning in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of AnnMarie Honey (Siska) Fragnito, who passed away last week. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Carmine and Maria (Romito) Fragnito. Anthony worked as a self-employed contractor for more than 40 years in the greater Lehigh Valley area. He also worked as a bricklayer and stone mason for Local 15, Bricklayers Union, Allentown. A Navy veteran of World War II, he served in the European Theater of Operations as a gunner. Anthony was a member of the Italian Club, Allentown and the former Slovak Club, Cementon. He was a life member of the V.F.W. Donald S. Reinert Post 7293, Egypt. Survivors: Daughter, Katrina M., wife of Gino Devito of Bethlehem; sons, Frank of Slatington, John D. of Canberra, Australia, Anthony S. Jr., Carmen, Josef A. and Carlo A., all of Whitehall; 22 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Jennie Nonnemaker in New Jersey, Viola, wife of William Milkovits, of Allentown. Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton 18067. Call 1-2 p.m. Interment, with military honors, Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall.

Dear Katrina and family, what a shock! I am so very sorry for all of you. To lose one parent is hard enough but to lose two in such a short time, you must be going a little on the crazy side, not nowing which way to turn. All I can say is that things happen for a reason that we don't understand and sometimes never will. Katrina, if there is anything that I can do, you know where I am. Take Care! And know that God's love is with all of you.

Katrina, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. We both just lost our Mother's, I couldn't imagine two at once like you are. I am still sick over my mom passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I don't know how you are doing this. I just can't imagine. You can e-mail me when you feel up to it and we can talk. Love Rita
