Antonina Luvera

Antonina Luvera 94, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday May 15, 2023. Antonina was the wife of the late Leonardo Luvera who passed in 1980. Born in Bagnara, Italy she was a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Giuseppa (Sgro) Luppino. Antonina was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Bethlehem. For 27 years she worked as a seamstress for the former Phoenix Clothes, and the Greif Company. Surviving is her son Vincent and his wife Linda, and daughters; Josephine wife of Frank DeAngelis, and Maria Chorney. Additionally she is survived by her sister Carmella Luppino, and grandchildren; Leonard, Anthony, Carmine, Cathy, Laura, Steven, Kevin, Kristina and Michael. Her great grandchildren are; Andrew, Nathan, Madison, Makenna, Leana, Reya, Luca, Julia, Adrian, & Aurbrey. She was preceded in death by her daughter Anunciata Curatola, sons in law; Carmelo Curatola, Michael Chorney, grandson Craig DeAngelis, sisters; Maria Luppino, Caterina Curatola and her brother Antonino Luppino. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am in Notre Dame. Calling will be on Friday from 6-8 pm in the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Allentown. And on Saturday from 9-10 am in the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Notre Dame Catholic Church of Bethlehem or Saint Padre Pio Shrine.
