Betty Scheffler Obituary
Betty J. Scheffler, 49, of Kutztown, died Monday, December 13, 2004, in her home. She was the wife of Dennis J. Scheffler. They celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary September 29. Born in Allentown, Betty was the daughter of Doris H. (Roth) Vogel, with whom she resided, and the late Elwood G. Vogel. She was employed by Knoll Inc., East Greenville, last working in 2001. She was a member of Grace Community Church, Allentown. Survivors: Husband; mother; son, Jason G. Vogel of Allentown; daughter, Lisa Marie Leonard of Allentown; brothers, Elwood S. Vogel of Allentown, Earl H. Vogel of Wescosville, Richard H. Vogel Sr. of Emmaus, Robert G. Vogel of Schnecksville, Charles H. Vogel of Bethlehem; four grandchildren, seven stepchildren, four stepgrandchildren. Services: memorial service will take place on Saturday, December 18, 2004, at 4:00 p.m. in Grace Community Church, 1290 Minesite Rd., Allentown. No calling hours. Arrangements, Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Schnecksville. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to the American Cancer Society, c/o the funeral home, P.O. Box 196, Schnecksville 18078-0196.
