Brian D. Scherer
Brian D. Scherer, 50, of Whitehall, formerly of Slatington, died November 21, in St. Lukes Hospital, Allentown. He was a resident of the LifePath group home, Whitehall, where he spent many happy years. Brian was employed at the LifePath Workshop, producing items for various companies. He loved watching television, parades, and going to amusement parks. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Martin S. and Doris Y. (Buck) Scherer Ahner. Survivors: Sister, Susan, wife of Larry Arner, of Palmerton; brother, Keith and his wife, Karin, of Emmaus. He was predeceased by his stepfather Milford Ahner. Services: 11 a.m. November 24, T.K. Thomas Funeral Home, 145 Delaware Ave, Palmerton. Call 10 to 11 a.m. November 24. Contributions: LifePath, 3500 High Point Blvd., Bethlehem 18017.

I have been working with Brian when needed for over a year now. As I was leaving for home one day and said bye to him, he blew me a kiss goodbye. I felt so special. So now I blow him a kiss for a safe trip home.
