I am so shocked and deeply saddened to hear the news. I modeled with Candy in NY in our 20´s. She was the funnest most amazing friend. I am so so sorry for your loss Emma and Jocelynn. I did not know she was ill. She made the world a brighter place. Her memory I will always cherish. May she rest In Peace.

Heartbreaking. We met during our time as undergrads, and I immediately recognized a kindred spirit. Her wry sense of humor and acerbic asides in class (sotto voce) always provided a much-needed morale boost. A fantastic lady; she will be missed.

She was kind, beautiful and talented. We would clown around so much in school at MSC. So fun, so sweet, so lovely in every way.

I just heard about Candy and wanted to send my condolences. I knew Candy from LCCC. She always had a big smile for me and the most upbeat spirit anyone can ask for. This breaks my heart. You were very lucky to have had her in your life. She was one of the god ones. I will miss her cheery face and exceptional attitude. This is just so sad.

I did not know you. But upon seeing your induction to the lord.i knew you were a great and beautiful person and soul. And came from a great family. I too loved capemay. Camping with my now adult children for many years. And in my teens n.wildwood in the 80 s. It would be easy to say its your raw beauty that draws me. But even in a photo the real beauty shines thru. I wish you all healing and peace this new year.

Our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your beloved Candy. We met many years ago when we joined LCC. She quickly became a favorite of ours, with her upbeat personality and beautiful smile. I remember one evening on the terrace when she joined a musical group for a song. We were blown away by her great singing voice, as we had no idea at the time of her many talents. She was so lovely, kind and cheerful and always made our day better. May her memory be a blessing.

I love you my favorite, my cheerleader, my inspiration, my best friend. I will miss our hikes, our chats, laughing until our stomachs hurt and tears rolled down our faces. I'll miss our wonderful vacations to Bermuda and Aruba. We had awesome times together. I have so many good memories of spending time with you and making fun of your sister. (sorry Jocelynn) Seriously though, this is a great loss. Heaven is a better place because of you and I'm sure the angels will flock to you. Until we meet again sister, I love you.

When I first started at LCC I was very shy and nervous. Candy was one of the first people to bring me out of my shell, always encourage me and give me the best advice. She quickly became a good friend of mine and I’ll always treasure the laughs and talks we had together. She truly did brighten my day as well as everyone else around her. We’ll forever miss her welcoming smile and personality. May she Rest In Peace.

When I first started working at LCC, I felt out of place at times. However, after meeting Candy that feeling quickly dissipated. Candy was someone who always went out of her way to make me feel loved and befriended, and her hugs were entirely unmatched. She brought a light with her anywhere she went, and her smile made everyone in the room smile too. She continues to live through every person who’s lives she brightened, including my own. Rest in peace Candy.

Candy was a ray of sunshine in human form! She was always so sweet, kind, and thoughtful. She was the first friend I made when I started working at LCC, and it didn’t take long until my daily work routine started with making a trip to her desk for a chat to start a shift. I will miss the laugh that cheerfully echoed through the halls, how she stopped to say hello or goodbye to everyone, and those snarky one-liners. Candy was truly one of the most genuinely beautiful, inside and out, people that I’ve ever met. It’s rare that you find someone who is sincerely adored by everyone they meet.
