Carolyn Yurewitch Obituary
Carolyn (Recklitis) Yurewitch of Naples, Fla, formerly of Penn Hills, Pa., passed away quietly with family by her side on May 16, 2009 She was a graduate of Penn Hills High School, earned a Baccalaureate in Education at Slippery Rock University in Pa. Carolyn will be sadly missed by family and friends. May the light of GOD hold you forever in the Palm of his hand. Her radiant smile, outgoing personality showed her strength and courage. Survivors: Husband, Richard Jr.; son, Ricky III; father-in-law Richard Sr. (Sue) Yurewitch; sister-in-law Debra Allen; brother-in-law John Yurewitch; father, John (Regina) Recklitis of Penn Hills, Pa; three brothers Mike (Patty) of Export, Pa., David and Keith of Penn Hills; sisters Andrea (Mitchell) Berkenkemper; nephews, Daniel (Karen), Steven of Winchester, Va, Debra (Patrick) Daily of Hubbard, Ohio; nephew Cody; niece, Lacie, Diane (Anthony) Morton of Penn Hills; grandmother Josephine Ozakuski; aunt Johanna (Warren) Jacoby of Bethlehem. Carolyn was also survived by many cousins. Preceeded in death by her mother Edwina and brother Walter. Services: 2-9 p.m. Thursday friends will be received in Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd. 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills, PA 15235. Mass o Christian Burial Friday 10 a.m. at St. Susanna Church.

19 Years ago Carolyn came into my life smiling,upbeat,happy,outgoing personality with a love for family, life, and fishing, My name is Jeannie, I own a resturant she would stop by for lunch she was a heavy machine operator, crane, dozer, back hoe,she was a profectionist the job was always done right. Her boss would brag she was a hard worker and could out work the guys, she would laugh. Carolyns saddest day in life was the death of her mother she was nine she moved on but never got over it, when her brother Walt died she was heartbroken she carried his picture with his obituary in her pocket all the time,Her happiest day in life was when Ricky was born and she became a wonderful mother. We laughed we cried we shared life for this to GOD I will always be grateful.I will miss you. May the light of Jesus Christ abound you Carolyn forever. Amen!You will be missed sadly! My deepest Sympathy to the Recklitis Family, John and Jean, Mike and Patty,and David, The Yurewich Family, Rick and Little Ricky

Im sorry to hear about the loss of Carolyn. I work at the Naples Medical Center for Dr William Laskowski. She was always a pleasure to work with and I will never forget her smile and her up beat personality no matter how bad she was feeling.I am glad I got the pleasure to know her. My god be with her now and to her family as well.

I am Carolyn's cousin Debbie (Malozi) Smith. Carolyn always made me smile. I will always treasure the times she came to Bethlehem, PA to visit Grammy & Grandpop Ozakuski. They were short & few as time goes on. We grow and have families of our own but we cherish the memories. My family & I send our deepest & heartfelt sympathy to Richard and son Ricky and the rest of the family. I take comfort in knowing she will be welcomed by Aunt Edwina & brother Walter. I met Carolyn a;ong with Nancy; all the way back in Dible Elementary, we went all the way through to PHHS, Class of 1980. I am so sorry to have read that she is now gone from us. (GBH)I'll sure try notify a few of her other Penn Hills classmates. To realize that she lived close by me, I never knew that.
