Catherine Chavar Obituary
Catherine J. Chavar, 83, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at her home. She is the wife of Anthony E. Chavar, Jr. Born in Lower Saucon Twp. on May 22, 1930 to the late John and Helen (Hulak) Ungiran. Catherine was a Real Estate Agent in the Lehigh Valley area with several accolades of service retiring in 1992. She is a member of Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown and its Guild, Southeastern Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Aux. Survivors: In addition to her loving husband of 62 years last September 29; children, Michael A. of Quakertown, Carol A. Molinaro and Julius C. Quartapella of Center Valley; brothers, Thomas Ungiran of Wassergass, David Ungiran and his wife Crystale of Upper Mount Bethel; grandsons, Steven and Jason Molinaro. Predeceased by her sister-in-law: Shirley Ungiran. Services: Family and friends are invited to call 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2013, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street- Hellertown followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Theresas, 1408 Easton Rd., Hellertown. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at: www.heintzelmancares.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials in Catherines name to her church, 1408 Easton Rd., Hellertown, PA 18055.

Tony and family, we just heard about Catherine's passing and we are heart broken for all of you. Catherine was always so friendly and caring. We feel so bad in not attending her services and saying goodbye to her. She was such a sweet person. Always smiling and laughing! Catherine will be sadly missed by so many. Our condolences to the whole family. We are so very sorry.

Dear Chavar Family, I was so sorry to read about Cathy's passing, We worked together and Cathy was always a professional. One little tidbit, Cathy's desk was always neat and tidy because she hid everything in her desk drawers. She will be missed by everyone as well as her family. Madeline Peters

Our dear Catherine, how we all loved you and will miss you. It's difficult to imagine a family gathering with yet another empty chair. My deepest sympathy to Tony, Mike and Carol and her family. May they take comfort in knowing you are at peace in the arms of our Lord and sharing your place in Heaven with loved ones who have gone before. Rest in peace.
