Dalila Ortiz Obituary
Dalila Ortiz, 87, of Bethlehem, died on January 9, 2013, at the Hospice House of St. Lukes surrounded by her family. She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem. Survivors: Five daughters, Elsa M. Ortiz, Lydia Teresa Ortiz, Hilda Esther Ortiz, Carmen L. Cruz and Norma E. Ortiz; four sons, Jose Miguel Ortiz, Jorge L. Ortiz, Humberto Ortiz and Jose Rafael Ortiz; brother, Ernesto Ortiz; 35 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a son, Felix M. Ortiz; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services: Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 10 a.m. in Holy infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. 4th Street, Bethlehem. Viewing on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the John F. Herron Funeral Home, 458 Center At Market Street in Bethlehem. Burial in Holy Savior Cemetery in Bethlehem.

Please know that my prayers are with you all,I have very fond memories of Dalila,even though I have not been in touch with the family often. She was the best Mother, and I know that she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.I know that I will always keep her memory in my heart and in my prayers, as will my daughter Leila.
