Daniel, I can never put into words how much you changed my life. We started out on a rough road. But you and I were the lucky ones! We found this great man named Gerald. Who adopted you and raised you as his own. He loved you with all of his heart. His whole family took us in and loved us unconditionally. It was an amazing 19 years that we had. Yes; for anyone that knows us we had our fights, but that is what mothers and sons do sometimes. I think about you every moment, every breath that I take.
I have memories of you everywhere. From antagonizing your sisters to being the loving brother that you were. From hunting for Easter eggs for Sandy when she was too sick to get up and find them to putting Sammy in the washing machine to “compact” the laundry so you could get it done faster. Sandra & Samantha idolized you and miss your non-stop teasing. Your father and I spend evenings reminiscing about things you did (good and bad). You left behind a very precious gift, Jaden; and gift that I promised I would take care of. Soon their will be two. We promise that those boys will know what a great (but crazy, but funny!) dad/brother/son/husband you were. We will always be there for Laura as she is family. Family was important to you. You were just never given the chance to express how important it really was. We love you with all of our hearts.

Mom (and Dad; everyone knows he can’t type, so this is from his heart as well!)
