Daniel John La Vecchia, of Hilltown Twp, Pa. and formerly of New Jersey, died suddenly Monday, October 23, 2006 in Richland Twp., Pa. He was 35. He was the husband of Stephanie G. (Polachek) La Vecchia. Born in Camden, N.J. he was a son of Joseph La Vecchia and stepson of Joanne La Vecchia of Absecon N.J. and son of the late Anna Marie (Deehan) La Vecchia. Mr. La Vecchia was employed as a truck driver for Drum Construction of Telford, Pa. Previously, he worked for Trevdan Building Supply, Sellersville, Pa. for 10 years. Survivors: Surviving with his wife, father and stepmother are two sons, Dylan J. La Vecchia of Lehighton, Pa. and Kristian D. La Vecchia of Sellersville; a stepdaughter, Kaleena M. Polachek of Perkasie and three brothers, Dion La Vecchia of Galloway Twp., N.J., Joseph La Vecchia of Schwenksville, Pa. and Michael La Vecchia of West Atlantic City, N.J. Services: graveside, 12:30 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2006 in Our Lady of Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Hilltown Pike, Hilltown, Pa.
