David Kuncio Obituary

David M. Kuncio, 71, of Macungie, died Nov. 28, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the widower of Brenda A. (Mertz) Kuncio. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Mary (Lisi) Kuncio and the late John Kuncio, Sr. David worked for Tyler Pipe for 35 years, retiring in 2009. He honorably served his country in the Navy during Vietnam. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus. David is survived by his mother, Mary; Son, Michael C. Kuncio of Emmaus; Daughters, Erraina M. Kuncio-Bohn of Topton and Melissa A. Kuncio of Allentown; Brothers, Michael Kuncio of Orefield and John Kuncio, Jr. of Allentown; Grandchildren, Dylan, Sebastian, and Saphyre. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Ann Frey. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018 at 10:30 AM in Calvary Cemetery, Emmaus. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
