David Rupp Obituary

David G. Rupp
David G. Rupp, 63, of Germansville, died Wednesday, September 19, 2007, in his home. Born in Allentown on July 18, 1944, David was the son of Carolyn M. (Holben) Rupp, with whom he resided, and the late George S. Rupp. He was employed as dispatcher for Kenneth Schuck Trucking Inc., Kuhnsville, for the past six years. Prior to that, he worked for the former Bob Young Trucking Company, Allentown, for 24 years. David was a member of Morgenland Union Church, Orefield. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War with a rank of SP4. He was a member of Oplinger Hower American Legion Post 899, Lehigh Township. Survivors: Mother; sister, Sue E. Fink and her husband Charles of Germansville; brothers, James S. Rupp and his wife Michele of State College, Timothy N. Rupp of Phillipsburg; five nieces, a nephew. He was predeceased by a brother, John W. Rupp, who died in 2006. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, September 22, Heintzelman Funeral Home, 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with Rev. David M. Werley officiating. Family and friends may call 10-11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Private interment will take place at Morgenland Union Cemetery, Orefield. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Morgenland Union Church, c/o the funeral home, P.O. Box 196, Schnecksville, PA 18078-0196.
