Derek Henry Obituary
Derek K. Henry, 36, of Danielsville, died Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Keith K. and Linda L. (Marth) Henry of Danielsville. Derek was a member of the NRA, he enjoyed fishing, hiking, and ATV riding. Survivors: Parents; sister, Melissa Beltz and her Fiance Ray Blackburn; grandmother, Shirley Henry; nieces, Tyra, and Tori Beltz; aunts; uncles; cousins. Services: Will be held 7:30 p.m. September 29, 2010, Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second Street, Slatington PA. Calling hour 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, can be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.

I just learned of Derek's untimely death, and I want to send my condolences to the entire Henry family. As a former teacher of his at Lehigh Elementary School, I remember him as a caring, gentle young man that was always happy and at peace with himself and others. My sincere sympathy for his loss.
