Doris Roth Obituary
Doris M. Roth 87, of Allentown passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late John A. Roth Jr. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Pauline S. (Kuhns) Herbert. She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ Mickleys, where she sang on the choir. She was a member of the Emmaus Chorale. Doris enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors: Son, John A. "Jack" III and his wife Lynne of Wescosville; daughters, Susan I. Roth of Northampton, Betsy A. wife of James Frank of Cetronia, Jane A. wife of Michael Bedell of Macungie, Sally I. wife of Bruce Derr of Macungie, Patricia Ratchford of Raleigh NC; Grandchildren, Brian Roth, Matthew Roth, Kristin Yost, Stacey Kucharik; great-grandchildren, Bobby, Emma, Anna, Laura, and Will. Brother, Robert, predeceased her. Services: Calling 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the Trexler Funeral Home 1625 Highland St., Allentown, PA 18102, and Friday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the church. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. A little piece you all may not recall is the wonderful caring joyful woman with a wonderful gift, who sat next to me in choir and took time to make sure she really knew me as a youth on the church choir, despite my age of 11 at the time. Of course you all know how that grew into so much more and for a love for her as a wonderful woman who loved her family and loved doing what was right by making sure she always put you all first. She loved you all dearly and I know you will miss her. Always, Debbie
