Dorothy will be missed. We sat next to each at the Lackawanna Astronomical Society meetings for years and I would give her a ride home.

Thank you all for your kind words, and memories of my mother. It's nice to know you all remember her and that she made an impact on you. She loved astronomy and music, and had so many talents!

Sorry to hear of your mother's passing. As your father's first Senior Warden at Good Shepherd I witnessed the hard work they did for the parishioners for 30 years for little pay in his case and none in hers. May they be rewarded in heaven for that and rearing a family for which they were justly proud.

Please accept my condolences and those of the Lackawanna Astronomical Society for your loss.

Dorothy was a great kind woman and a fun member of the LAS and supporter of Keystone College's T G Cupillari Observatory. She was ever eager to see the universe and share it with others.

We've all been missing her since she first left to live with her family in Sugarland, Texas. The front row of seats on the right haven't been the same since she's been gone and this permanent loss will be hard for all us old timers who knew her.

Rest In Peace, Dot.

I remember meeting her when Epiphany choir went caroling in your neighborhood. We had a great conversation and she was so knowledgeable about all things choir...now I know why. You were so lucky to have her in your lives.

I first met Dorothy and her friend in the early morning hours on a spring day in 1995. She and her friend walked the observatory entrance road from Hack road to get a view of comet 122P/de Vico. I arrived later without knowing who they were. The 3 of us enjoyed the binocular view of the comet, we became acquainted and I was happy to have such good company that morning.

For a few years I would drive Dorothy to some of the Winter club meetings at Keystone College Thomas G Cupillari Observatory meetings. She was always good company. Sorry for you loss.
