Dorothy White Obituary
Dorothy Dottie White, 79, of Forks Twp., died Friday evening, March 11, 2011. Services: Friends and relatives are invited to her funeral service Wednesday, March 16, at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem on Center Street (Route 512). The family will privately attend the burial service at the Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church, Jeffersonville, PA. There will be no viewing hours.

Ted, Nancy & Scott......I fondly remember your Mom from your days as our neighbors in Oreland, and throughout the years as our families remained close friends. I'm happy I was able to visit with everyone last summer in Stone Harbor, and I know that you will be a great comfort to each other in this sad time. Even though I 'm far away, my thoughts and my families prayers are with all of you.

Mrs White was a wonderful teacher i had in Hackettstown and thought of fondly...she will be missed ...thoughts and prayers to the family....

Dear Nancy, God Bless your beautiful mom. She was like a second mother to me in those precious early years. I remember her as always so incredibly gentle, patient, and kind, all the time, no matter what we got into! Although we grew up and left the neighborhood many years ago, her impact on my childhood will never leave me. My heart is with you, Scott, your dad, and your whole family at this sad time.

I met Mrs. White in the seventh grade at Hackettstown Middle School. I had the privledge of not only having her as my reading teacher, but also briefly as my piano teacher she was so wise and always had a great sense of humor, I am honored to have known her. My heart goes out to the White family and their loss. I hope they find peace knowing what a blessing Dottie was to all she met.

I had the privilege to meet Dottie last week. Her glowing face and sweet disposition are vivid in my memory still. What a blessing she was to me. I know she made this earth so much sweeter by her presence. May God stengthen and comfort you during this time.
