Edith Gogle Obituary

Edith A. Gogle, 99, of Catasauqua, died Tuesday January 17, 2023 at her home with her son Ronald by her side. She was the wife of the late Alfred H. Gogle and celebrated 66 years of marriage together before his passing in 2012. Born in Chapman Quarries, she was a daughter of the late William G. And Minnie L. (Mast) Heckman. Edith was a lifelong member of Christ United Church of Christ in Schoenersville. Before retiring, she worked for various textile mills around the Lehigh Valley including the former C&F in Catasauqua. Edith was a devoted wife and mother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son Ronald L. Gogle and his wife Anita and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy J. Miller, and brothers Stanley, Willard and Kenneth Heckman. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ U.C.C., 5050 Airport Road, Allentown, PA 18109. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.brubakerfuneralhome.com. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua is handling the arrangements.
