Edith Kyle Obituary
Edith M. Kyle, 92, formerly of Bethlehem, died Sunday, August 20, 2006, in Westminster Village, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Gerald S. Kyle, who died in 1983. She was a secretary at Lehigh University many years ago. Born in Quakertown, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Lizzie Shive. Edith was a member of Christ Church U.C.C., Bethlehem, where she was a former Sunday school teacher. She belonged to Bethlehem Commandery 90 Auxiliary. Survivors: Son, James and his wife Pamela of Bethlehem; granddaughters, Margaret Sharp and Amanda Kyle; two great-grandchildren. Services: Noon Saturday in the church, Center and Market streets, Bethlehem. Call 11:30 a.m. until the time of services Saturday in the church. Arrangements, Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Westminster Village Health Center Renovation Fund, 803 N. Wahneta St., Allentown, PA 18109.

Wow, I remember Edith Kyle from when I worked @ WV- I just didn't realize her age. Her appearance reminded me very much of my own maternal grandmother, even some of her facial expressions. My thoughts, prayers & condolences go out to her family & the staff of WV @ this time.
