Edward L. Fehr, Jr., 81, of Nazareth, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Liberty Nursing Home, Allentown, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Northampton County on February 25, 1929, he was the son of the late Edward L. Sr. and Lottie (Kimminour) Fehr. Edward was a graduate of Nazareth High School class of 1947 and later honorably served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Prior to retiring, Edward worked for Lehigh University as a store book manager for more than 30 years. Previously, he worked for the Bethlehem Steel P.B.N.E. Railroad for several years. After retiring, Edward later worked as a shuttle driver for Dick Milham Ford-Toyota, Hecktown Road. He was a life-member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Bethlehem as well as a member of the Nazareth V.F.W. and the Slatington American Legion. Survivors: His loving family, daughter, Nancy M. Guevara and her husband, Edwin, of Allentown; son, Jeffrey W. Fehr and his wife, Kelly, of Bethlehem; six grandchildren, Sonya, Kathy, Kimberly, Kevin, Kristen and Jordan; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Wagner and her husband, Lester, of Nazareth and Esther Trahanov and her husband, Roumen, of Nazareth; two nephews, Randy and Brian. Services: A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the Hope Cemetery, Hecktown. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Village of Moorestown-Bath, PA 18014. Contributions: May be made in memory of Edward to his family in care of the funeral home.
