Eleanor Kratzer

Eleanor E. Kratzer, 94, of Yardley PA., formerly of Allentown, passed away Saturday June 11, 2016 in Spring Village Yardley PA. She was the wife of the late John L.E. Kratzer. Born in Germansville, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Ida (Friebolin) Bachman. She was a member of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Allentown. She was a 1944 graduate of the Allentown Hospital School of Nursing. She was a nurse at Allentown General Hospital. Eleanor enjoyed gardening, knitting and playing cards. Survivors: Son, John and his wife Joanne of Stockton NJ.; daughter, Shannon wife of Robert Coopman of San Antonio TX.; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a granddaughter; great-grandson; brother Wilmer. Services: 11:00 am Friday July 1, 2016 at the Evangelical Church of the Redeemer 822 N 19th St. Allentown PA 18104.
