Eleanor R. Purdy
Eleanor R. Purdy, 79, of Lower Macungie Township and formerly of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2006, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of Robert Purdy. Born in Hellertown, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Filler. She was an accountant and bookkeeper for Warren York Corporation and DayTimers, Inc. in the Lehigh Valley for many years. Eleanor was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Bethlehem. Survivors: Husband; son, Troy, and daughter, Katrina, both at home; brothers, Robert John Filler of Lower Saucon Township, Francis and his wife, Nancy Filler, of Coopersburg, and Richard and his wife, Maryann, of Hershey; sisters, Marie Filler, Julie Filler and Kathleen Filler, all of Lower Saucon Township, and Anita and her husband, Paul Noonan, in New Jersey; nieces, nephews. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Macada and Jacksonville roads, Bethlehem. Call from 10 a.m. to time of service in the church. Arrangements entrusted to the Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. Contributions: Churchs piano fund, 18017.

Dear Troy and Katrina,



I cannot tell you how much I have been thinking of you since last week. You both have had such tough lives already. It is my hope that in the coming years you will get to experience childhood again. Please know that everyone here at school cares.
