Emma T. Gogel

Emma T. Gogel, 72, of Coplay, died April 14 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. She was married to Leon C. Gogel for 52 years. She was a sewing machine operator for the former Coplay Dress Co. for 20 years before retiring in 1978. Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Alexander J. and Emma S. (Deutsch) Nagy. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay, and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was a member of AARP, Whitehall Township. Survivors: Husband; daughters, Susan M. O'Brien of Marlborough, Mass., Leann of West Grove, Chester County; sisters, Anna Adams of Coplay, Cecelia Krempasky of Schnecksville; brothers, Frank of Coplay, Louis of Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County; nieces, nephews. Services: 10 a.m. Friday, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay. Scripture Service, 10:30 a.m. Friday in the church. Call 9-10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.
