Emma Sloyer Obituary
Emma S. Sloyer, 103, of Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township, formerly of Hellertown, died Monday, Aug. 15, 2005, at her residence. Born in Bucks County on March 10, 1902, she was the daughter of the late J. Adams Sloyer and Rebecca (Rothermel) Sloyer. She was a silk weaver for the former Eagles, Bethlehem, for 12 years and a cashier for the former Saconia Theater, Hellertown, for eight years. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Hellertown. Survivors: No immediate survivors. She was preceded in death by brothers, Marcus, Oliver and Calvin. Services: private at Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown. Interment in Union Cemetery of Hellertown following the services.
