McElroy, Frances M.Frances M. McElroy, of Easton PA, passed away suddenly on Friday evening January 16, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem Twp. Born: Frances was born in New York City, NY, a daughter to the late Valentine and Hermine (Lancos) Michalski. Personal: After graduating from High School in Manhattan, NY, the class of 1959, Frances worked for Equitable Life Assurance in the Insurance Division. She worked as a Nurses' Aid at the Easton Nursing Center for 23 years before retiring. She received the Honor of Special Congressional Recognition for 20 years of service in the nursing field. She enjoyed retirement as an active member of a prayer group at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Frances played an active role in all of her grandchildren's lives. Memberships: She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, in Palmer Twp. Survivors: Frances is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Patrick McElroy, of Easton; three daughters: Doreen Donlick and her husband David, of Nazareth; Debra McElroy and her fiancé Allen Biddinger, of Bethlehem, and Patricia McElroy, of Nazareth; three grandchildren: Nicole, David, and Cameron; a sister: Jane Lodispoto and her husband Joseph, of Wantagh, Long Island, NY and several nieces and nephews. Services: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church 4049 Hartley Ave. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
