Francis X. Mullane
Francis X. Mullane, 81, of Columbia Avenue, Palmerton, died Thursday, April 9, 2009, in Brookmont Health Care Center, Effort. He was the husband to Jane A. (Griffin) Mullane since August 8, 1953. Born in Jackson Heights, Queens, N.Y. he was a son to the late Thomas D. and Blanche (Moran) Mullane. Francis was a self employed CPA, in Palmerton and Brodheadsville, for over 50 years, retiring in 2004. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton. Francis was a US Army Veteran of World War II Occupation, serving in Europe, achieved rank of Pfc. He enjoyed gardening, working on his home, and tinkering in his work shop. Survivors: Wife. Daughter, Paula A. Mullane & Fiance, Steve Ewing of Brodheadsville, sons; Francis G. and wife Susan of Palmerton, Christopher J. of Staten Island, N.Y., E. Michael and wife Laura of Jenks, Okla., son in-law, Todd M. Reimel of Palmerton; grandchildren, Heather, Michael, Emalie, Tyler, great-grandsons, Alec, Leo, brothers; Thomas of West Caldwell, N.J., William and wife Adelaide of Warren, Ohio. He was predeceased by daughter, Doris M. Reimel in January. Services: Mass of Christain Burial, 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, Pa 18071. Call, Monday 7-8:30 p.m. and Tuesday, 9:30-10:30 a.m., Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, Pa 18071. Interment, Parishs New Cemetery, Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton. Paula and family,
Our sincere condolences to everyone. Frank was a great man and he will be missed by all. May you find peace and comfort knowing he is in Heaven with our mighty God. He is no longer suffering, but peacefully seeing Doris again. We are here for you and we will continue to pray for you all during this difficult time. Love, Michele, Rick, Luke and Casey

I was very sad to learn of Mr. Mullanes passing. My sincerest condolences to everyone in the family. I was Doris best friend from in NC. I knew Mr. Mullane for some time while employed at Honeymoon Hideaway in Kresgeville. Again, my sincerest condolences.
