G. Michael Frisoli, 90, of Bethlehem, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021. He was predeceased by his wife of over 67 years Esther M. (Overdorf) Frisoli with whom he traveled and shared many adventures. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Michael L. and Anna M. (Julian) Frisoli. He was a graduate of Liberty High School and attended Baylor University. G. Michael honorably served his country in the US Army retiring after over 20 years including the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. After he retired from the military Mike went to work for Bethlehem Steel at the Homer Research Labs. After that retirement. He enjoyed working for various florists delivering flowers throughout the valley. Michael was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church, Knights of Columbus, and American Legion Post 397 where he formerly served as Post Commander. He was very active within the Lehigh Valley Theater Community.
Survivors: Mike will be lovingly remembered by his children, Susan Polizzotto of Bethlehem, Deborah Hill and her husband Jerome of Belvidere, NJ, Michael Frisoli of Bethlehem, Diane Hoffman and her husband Thomas of Millville, DE, Julie Zapotocky and her husband Eugene of Salisbury Township and Rocco Frisoli of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Dan, Becky, Laura, Sara, Jon, Karisa, Nick and Jacob; great grandchildren Lucas, Edison and August. Mike was predeceased by siblings, Rocco Frisoli, Vincent Frisoli, Vincenzia Martino and Angelina Holman.
Services: A viewing will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St. Bethlehem PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd, Bethlehem, PA where another viewing will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003.
