Gail Marie Summers (Seibert), beloved mother, sister, aunt, and daughter, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 24th, 2021. She was 57.

Gail was born on March 8th, 1964 in Whitehall, Pennsylvania to William and Patricia Seibert. Growing up, her family was involved with the Fullerton Ramblers Football team while her father coached and her brothers played on the field. She found a love for being a cheerleader and she followed this love throughout high school. She graduated from Whitehall High School in 1982 and from there, started working at Red Lobster. Gail loved everything about her work and met a majority of her life-long friends during that time. She was then promoted to manager and in 1989, Gail moved to Philadelphia and continued her management there. It was in Philadelphia where Gail met Tom Summers, and they would go on to eventually have two wonderful children together, Jennifer and Tommy.

They lived on Plane Road for many years where Gail truly called home. From the block parties, pool parties, and Desperate Housewives nights, their neighbors became more like family. Gail loved hosting all the family get-togethers where she was able to feed people, especially with her famous stuffing.

Gail was a huge Eagles fan, an avid dog lover, and had an overabundant passion for 80's hair rock and roll, often having Bon Jovi playing on her stereo. Anyone who knew Gail knew how much she loved the band Magnum, compiled of her close friends. If they were performing, Gail was always there.

Gail was always known to be a very welcoming, generous, and selfless person to everyone around her, and most of her children's friends referred to Gail as their second mom, attributing to her caring and loving nature. She always loved spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. Gail loved when everyone was together, and she was known to have a special place in her heart for her five nephews.

Gail is survived by her daughter Jennifer, her son Tommy, mother Patricia, brothers Michael (Samantha) and Billy (Crystal), nephews Ryan, Nathan, Gage, Harrison, and Chase, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family members, including Jolane, Lori, and Joey. She is preceded in death by her father William, grandmother Emma, grandfather Joseph, brother-in-law Sammie, and mother-in-law Josephine. Also left to mourn are some special people - Tom, Michele, Jimmy, Joe, Mark, Andrea, Nichole, Paul, Nick, Brooke, and Tim.

Family and friends are invited to Gail's Memorial Service on Saturday, November 6th at 12pm. Edward J. Petner Funeral Home, 6421 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia Pennsylvania 19135. A celebration of Gail's life will follow in the upcoming weeks in the Allentown area.

Seibert family, Jen & Tommy, So sorry to read of the loss of your dear Gail! No matter how long a period of time has gone by, she always greeted me with a big hug. So glad I saw her & spoke with her at the recent Magnum reunion. That smile was always there and she truly loved going out, having parties & having so many friends. Jen & Tommy, she spoke so proudly of you both. My sympathy to all who knew her.

I still can't believe Gail isn't with us anymore. I loved her so much. She was the most kindest, caring, loving person and the funnest person to hang around. I knew Gail my whole life. From elementary school until graduating together. But I got to know her the most when I started working with her at Red Lobster. All of the RL people from that time period know we were one big family. I was honored to be a bridesmaid in her wedding, and although I didn't see her so much when she moved to Philly, when she moved back to Whitehall it was like we never skipped a beat. I thought we would grow old together. There was so much more laughing to do. But unfortunately that's not the case. God needed another angel. I'll always love you Gail Marie

Mrs. Seibert, Michael and Billy, My heart dropped when I heard about Gail's passing. We grew up together in Fullerton, and she was always laughing and smiling. I was able to spend a little bit of time with her at the Blue Monkey class reunion, it was great to catch up and share a few laughs. Know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest condolences to Gail's Family and loved ones. I knew Gail from back in junior high at Whitehall. Then we all met up at a Whitehall Reunion a few years ago. It was great to reconnect with Gail. She was always a kind, huggy, loving person. I will miss her smile. A couple years ago we finally got the time to go to dinner and we talked up a storm. Gail was always smiling and made everyone feel so loved and comfortable. You can tell she was a very caring friend. She loved her children and was so proud of them. My prayers for her Mother, her children, loved ones and all her closest friends. May God give you all comfort and strength. May we keep Gail's memory alive with how she touched each of our lives, even the briefest encounter Gail was always kind. She will be greatly missed in the world. See you on the other side buddy.

Jen, Tommy, Pat, Michael and Billy, I am so very sorry for your loss. I went to high school with Gail and she was a great friend. Our class held an impromptu gathering a few years ago and when I came in Gail ran to me with the biggest hug and we cried since it had been so long since we had seen each other. We continued to try to get together when we could for lunch. Know that I cherish the friendship we have and will continue to remember the memories of being on the tech bus and especially her infectious laugh and her beautiful smile she always wore on her face. Tommy and Jen, your Mom loved you both so very much amd always spoke of the two of lovingly and proudly. Tommy she was so proud of you when you joined the military. Jen she was proud of your accomplishments and future endeavours. Gail you will be forever in my heart and I will pray for your family as they go through this unbelievable loss to us all. Rest in peace my beautiful friend, this is not goodbye but see you on again when we meet again. Love you to the moon and back. With much love and heartfelt sympathy, Tess

I'm am so sorry everyone. Gail touched everyone she came into contact with. She truly had a love for all people and pets. Being in her wedding was truly one of the most fun times in my life. Red Lobster bleu cheese dressing, dancing to Magnum with " fingers in the air" and screaming and singing along to our favorite songs. , so many road trips, Wildwood summers , cans of hair spray, mini dresses, belts, boots, and high heels. We have truly lost an irreplaceable angel. but I am sure she is in Heaven taking care care of all our pets and organizing everyone into 1 giant party. Rest in peace my dear sweet friend.

Jennifer, Tommy, Mrs. Seibert & Family,

What a beautiful tribute to Gail! She was a beautiful person inside & out. Always fun to be around, her personality would light up any room she entered. I was a 1982 WHS classmate of Gail & we reconnected in 2011. I will miss her daily Facebook posts that made me smile & laugh but most of all her contagious laughter! God evidently needed her more and we will all miss her dearly! My thoughts & prayers are with each of you during this difficult time. Gail always called me her “Turkey” because my maiden name was Turk. We always laughed at that and now anytime I hear the word turkey I will forever think of Gail! RIP my friend!
Your Turkey,
