George M. Cosmos Jr.

George M. Cosmos, Jr., 82, of Emmaus, died at home, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, May 6, 2018. He was the husband of Eleanore A. (Ondush) Cosmos. The couple celebrated 60 years of marriage on May 3rd. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late George and Celia (Prete) Cosmos. George was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Emmaus and was a Graduate of William Allen High School. He was employed by A&P/Superfresh Markets for 45 years, retiring in 1997. Survivors: Wife; Sons, Michael Cosmos and his wife Nancy of Malvern, and Timothy Cosmos and his wife Cheryl of Macungie; Daughter, Lisa O'Brien and her husband William of Gambrills, MD; Brother, Donald Cosmos of Wescosville; Sister, Rosemarie Murray and her husband Robert of Ridley Park; Grandchildren, Megan, Matthew, Jennifer and Allison; and Great-Grandchildren, Christian and Vera. He was preceded in death by Siblings, John and Eugenia. Services: Memorial Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 415 S. 6th St., Emmaus, PA 18049.
