I was at work today at our Whitehall store and was speaking to some folks there and had asked about George and found out about his passing. We're very sorry to hear about this. He had installed a well and septic on our land and even hauled a mobile home about a half mile away from it so we could set it up. He helped years later by letting me be a helper and pull a bad well pump and replace it with him. He was a great guy with wonderful stories and knowledge. Our prayers to him and George's family.

Marilyn and Family,
I am so very sorry to see the passing of George. It has brought back so many childhood memories for me. My brothers, Kevin and Joe both worked with/for Warren and Georgie during their teenage years. Kevin loved working there. I never saw someone so anxious to run from the bus and change to go to work. My Dad would stop by to Check on them and he became friends with Warren and I remember all the Fish after one of their deep sea fishing trips. My Dad, Sonny, and Kevin even joined the Mount Allen Hunting Club. Kevin was so thrilled when he was allowed to ride along to deliver the produced to Traub's and was finally allowed to drive the tractor! He just couldn't wait to get home to tell us all about it. We only lived over the hill, by the little field. I'm sure Warren, Myrtie, Georgie, Sonny, Verna(my Mom), and Kevin are all talking about those good ole days. I hope memories like these help to fill the loss that Georgie has left. My Thoughts and Prayers are with you ALL!

Sharing in your sadness and loving memories of Uncle George, Husband, Father, Pappy, and Great Pappy

Uncle George, I will always remember the fun times and special memories with you. From holidays as a kid ,visits to your farm and overnights as a young girl,Iron Pig baseball games to holiday picnics. Your fun nature, tell it like it is, smile, and boisterous ways will be missed so much. Here's to the memories we shared. Thanks for saving my head back in the 60s from the corner of that table.
Love,
Your Niece
