Gertrude Hoffman Obituary

Gertrude (Trudy) Hoffman (nee Cury), 93, of Annapolis, MD, formerly of Allentown, PA, and later Lake Worth, FL, died in Annapolis, MD, on Sunday, July 9, 2023. She was the wife of the late Albert Hoffman. Trudy was the owner of Seidel's Juvenile Shoes and Sneaky Feet, Easton, PA. She was also a retail store manager as well as an accountant for General Tire Co.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Max and Rose Koire.

Survivors are sons Howard of Annapolis, MD (Lori) and Jeffrey of San Antonio, TX (Virginia), and daughters, Francine Shapiro (the late Dr. Elliott) of Boynton Beach, FL and Laurie Berman (Dr. Louis) of Annapolis, MD.

She was a devoted Grandma to her 8 Grandchildren: Ryan Shapiro (Holly), Brian Hoffman (Catherine), Marc Hoffman, Alexander Berman, Sam Berman, Max Berman, Ashley Hoffman, and Chris Hoffman.

She also loved her 6 Great Grandchildren: Eva Shapiro, Fox Shapiro, Niya Hoffman, Dylan Hoffman, Aaliyah Hoffman, and Leonard Hoffman.

Graveside Services were held July 11th at Temple Israel Cemetery, Weissport, PA.

The family will be mourning at 1 Sands Ave., Annapolis, on Wednesday July 12th and Thursday July 13th from 2pm – 4pm and 7pm- 9pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
