Gertrude Trudy P. Reagan, 92, of Moravian Hall Square, Nazareth, passed away Friday, October 5, 2007, in Hospice of the V.N.A. of St. Lukes, Lower Saucon Township. She was the wife of the late Kermit Reagan, who died in 1980. She would have celebrated her 93rd birthday on October 11. Born in Boyle County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Lee and Katherine (Boling) Preston. She graduated from Perryville (Ky.) High School and attended Spencerian Business School, Louisville, Ky. In later years, she worked as a clerk in retail sales for Pogues Department Store, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Resort Shop, Venice, Fla. Trudy was a devoted wife, mother and friend. Her sweet disposition and thoughtfulness endeared her to everyone. She was admired for her independence and the ability to make the best of any situation. Being tiny in stature, Trudy was the epitome of the phrase good things come in small packages. Survivors: Daughters, Lynne R. Johnson and her husband Don of Bethlehem, Ellen R. Stephenson and her husband James of Troy, Mich.; brother, William Preston of Perryville and Venice, Fla.; four grandchildren, Emily and Jimmy Stephenson of Troy, Andy Johnson and his wife Helena, and their daughters Beth and Amelia of LaPlata, Md., David Johnson and his wife Jeanine, and their children Sarah, Ethan and Norah of Breinigsville; beloved nieces and nephews. Gertrude was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl and Russell, and James Jimmie Preston, and sister, Eva Mae Preston. Services: Graveside, 11:30 a.m. Thursday, October 11, Perryville (Ky.) Cemetery. Local arrangements entrusted to Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. Online condolences may be made at www.longfuneralhome.com. Contributions: Moravian Hall Square, Good Samaritan Fund, 175 W. LYNN and ELLEN: I am so sorry to here of the passing of your Dear mother Trudy,Trudy was a loving and caring person, she never had a bad thing to say about anyone, I am so glad that i have got to know Trudy and you to Lynn in the 2 years that i had taken care of Trudy before she went to Moravian Hall Square, I will always remember Trudy for her loving smile and for the Love of Hershey Kisses!!!Trudy will truly be missed by many friend and family,may god be with you and your family at this time.Trudy friend Julie.

Trudy was always smiling, she had a little chuckle when she laughed that was contagious. She always talked about her daughters and when she did she would light up! I enjoyed all the times I spent wih Trudy and my thoughts and prayers go out to her family!
