Harold Reitz Obituary

Harold D. Reitz, Jr., 60, of Orefield, died Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. Born in Allentown, May 14,1961, Harold was the son of Harold D. Reitz, Sr. and Peggy L. (Hallman) Reitz with whom he resided. He worked at the former Parkland Car Wash in Schnecksville. Harold was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville.

Survivors: In addition to his parents; maternal grandmother, Anna M. (Stimmel) Reitz of Schnecksville; siblings, Cathy Everett (Michael) of Schnecksville, Timothy Reitz (Denise) of Neffs, Patti Reitz of Reading; several nieces and nephews.

Service: Funeral services will be held 10:00 am. Friday, January 21, 2022 at Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5500 PA Route 873, Schnecksville with the Rev. Gordon A. Camp officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:00 – 10:00 am. Friday in the church gathering space. Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Union Evangelical Lutheran Church Memorial Fund c/o the funeral home, P.O. Box # 196, Schnecksville, PA 18078-0196.
