Herbert F. Hoagie OBrien, 56, of Kutztown, died February 18, 2009 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Josette (Miller) OBrien. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Carl R. Nip OBrien, who died in 2006 and Madinna M. (Fink) OBrien, who died January 22, 2009. He last worked for Baver Construction, Pennsburg. Previously, he owned and operated OBrien & Sons Seafood in Alburtis and Trexlertown. He was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Trexlertown. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Survivors: Wife; son, Carl and his wife, Jennifer, of Kutztown; daughters, Jonelle Kacsur of Alburtis, Nicolette R. OBrien and her fiancee, Nathan Langenfeld, of Kutztown; brother, Carl and his wife, Cathy, of Wescosville; sisters, Cecelia, wife of Gary Fenstermaker, of Kutztown, Pamela, wife of Larry Follweiler, of Topton, Dawn Hoffman of Alburtis, Kathryn OBrien, wife of David Lichtenwalner, of Kutztown; five grandchildren, Anthony, Alyssa, Kyla, Christa, Joseph. He was predeceased by a brother, Hugh, in 1997. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, February 21 in the Carl F. Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville.
