Iris L. Moser, of Souderton, died Saturday, March 29, 2008, in the Phoebe Nursing Home, Allentown. She was 86 years old. She was the wife of 64 years of the late Burgen Butch Moser who passed away February 13, 2007. Born on October 4, 1921, in the town of Kellers Church, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Nannie Belle (Meredith) Beck. She was a graduate of Sell-Perk High School, Perkasie. Iris worked for the former Royal Pants Factory, Perkasie, where she met her husband, and also for the Wicks Company in Perkasie. She worked for many years as a nursing assistant for the Lutheran Community at Telford and Ridgeway Health Care. Iris had been an active member of St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kellers Church, for more than 60 years, where she served on the Womens Auxiliary and was a member of the Lunch Bunch. She was also a member of the Womens Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Forrest Lodge 245, Sellersville, for many years. Iris was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who dearly loved animals, especially cats and birds. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gifting many of her afghans and towels. Survivors: A son, Ronald N. Moser and his wife Michele of Bethlehem; three grandchildren, Jennifer Miller, Ronald Moser Jr., and Michelle Grubb; five great-grandchildren; a step great-grandchild; three brothers, Karl Beck of LaMar, Clyde Beck of Pennsburg, and Kenneth Beck, of Perkasie. Services: Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, in St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3668 Ridge Rd., Perkasie, where family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Kellers Church Cemetery, Kellers Church. Arrangements are by the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch St., Perkasie.
