Jack A. Najarian, 92 of Bethlehem died on February 26, 2014 at home. He was the husband of the late Helen C. (Coronges) Najarian who died on September 6, 2013. Jack was born in Beirut, Lebanon son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Najarian. He emigrated from Lebanon at age one and he was raised in Brooklyn, NY. In 1948, he married Helen and they became residents of the Lehigh Valley. He served his country in the Air Force during World War II. He was a department head at Western Electric which became Lucent, retiring after 40 years and was a member of the Pioneers of American for AT&T. After he retired Jack was a Travel Agent for the Travel Corner on Airport Road in Allentown. He was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Bethlehem, where he was a member of the Senior Citizens. He was also a member of the Order of AHEPA, Homer Chapter #65 of Bethlehem. Survivors: Daughter, Lizabeth N. Hutchison of Bethlehem; son, Dr. Michael P. Najarian of York; four grandchildren, Jenny and Jason Najarian and Meredith and Stacey Hutchison; brother, George, husband of Doris of Brooklyn, NY. Predeceased by sister, Agnes; and three brothers Aram, Sam and John. Services: Funeral Service on Monday, March 2, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1607 West Union Blvd. in Bethlehem. There will be a viewing on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m., with a Trisagion Service at 3 p.m. in the John F. Herron Funeral Home, 458 Center at Market Street in Bethlehem. Burial in Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown. Contributions: To the Hospice House of St. Lukes.
