James Cieslak Obituary

James E. Cieslak, 69, of Bethlehem, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023. He was the loving husband of Kathy Lee (Smith) Cieslak with whom he shared over 45 years of marriage. Born in Mt. Pleasant, PA, he was the son of the late Milton and Frances (Haluch) Cieslak. Jim was a graduate of Geibel Catholic High School and Slippery Rock University. He worked in Computer IT for AT&T and later he worked for UPS. Jim was a member of the Lehigh River Stocking Association and St. Anne Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Jim and his wife Kathy coached volleyball at Cross Court Volleyball Academy for many years together. He was an avid Golfer and enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

SURVIVORS: In addition to his loving wife Kathy, he will be remembered by his daughters Emily Cieslak of Whitehall and Ellen Cieslak of Bethlehem; sisters Nancy Glessman and her husband Glenn of Pittsburgh and Jane Hellmann and her husband Dan of Jeannette, PA.

SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, April 17, 2023 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Avenue Bethlehem, PA 18017 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 A.M. until time of the service. Burial will follow at Lower Saucon Cemetery. Jim's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.

CONTRIBUTIONS: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lehigh River Stock Association, P.O. Box 203 Danielsville, PA 18038.

I will remember him as the vibrant, outgoing adventurer he was.
