Jean H. Laudenslager

Jean H. Laudenslager, 89, of Bethlehem Township, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at home. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Thelma (Furler) and Lester Frederick. Jean was the wife of Ernest F. Laudenslager with whom she shared 70 years of marriage in May, 2016. She attended St. Stephens Episcopal Church, Whitehall. Jean loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her heart was full for the American Indians and she was a faithful follower of Willie Nelson. Survivors: In addition to her husband, Ernest; son, Glenn Laudenslager and wife Hattie of Hellertown; daughters, Donna Zavecz and husband Terrence of Alburtis, Karla Nauman and husband Alan with whom she resided, Luann Sassaman and husband Thomas of Riegelsville; sister, Judy Haiges of Lansdale; 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren. Services: 11:00am, Monday February 13, 2017 in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc. 46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. A viewing for family and friends to be held 10:00am until time of service in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
