Jean Schellenberg Obituary
Jean A. Schellenberg, 78, of Allentown, died August 5, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospice-Inpatient Unit. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Daniel J. and Hattie (Grate) Young, Sr. She was a garment worker in various textile mills in the Lehigh Valley and worked for the Family and Counseling Service of the Lehigh Valley. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and gardening. Survivors: Daughter, Lisa, wife of Scott Schriner of New Cumberland, PA; sons, Steve, husband of Lisa of Corpus Cristi, TX and Kurt, husband of Amy of Crosby, TX; grandchildren, Brooke, Brett, Craig and Douglas; great-granddaughter, Alexa; sister, Betty Haas; brothers, Lester Edward Young, Richard Young, Robert Young and Wilbur Young. Services: To be held privately at the convenience of the family. Dear Lisa and family,
I am sorry to hear of the Passing of your Mother...my Aunt Jeannie. I am one of your relatives...Arthur & Stella Young's eight children. We just had a funeral for the Passing of my Mother, Stella, who died on Mother's Day. We have just met with Uncle Wilbur, and Aunt Betty two weekends ago, with hopes to getting in touch with our remaining relatives. I realize this is a sad time for you and your family, but my 7 brothers and sisters would love to have a reunion sometime.
