To the friends and family of Jeanette-

Jeanette and I shared the love of baseball. She was a resident at the Episcopal House when I was the Executive Director. I visited Cooperstown and was thrilled to see Jeanette's name and photo in the exhibit of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League. She was a catcher and had the hands to prove it. Her eyes twinkled every time she told the story of leaving the team to come home to marry Al. She was so proud of the movie they made of the girls and said it was all pretty much true to the lives of the players. I also remember when Jeanette threw out the first pitch at the Iron Pigs game. She gave me tickets so I could attend. I still have the team photo she gave me to remember her by. I will always cherish it.

Jeanette was a special lady, strong like bull, we used to kid her. She came from good stock(er), always helpful to other residents. Her apartment was immaculate, every year earning her an A+++.

I'll never forget Jeanette. She brought a lot of "cheer" to me and the Episcopal House. I hope she's catching in the field of dreams back in Kenosha Wisconsin. Rest easy my baseball friend. I'll always remember you fondly.

In loving memory of a wonderful person, a true trailblazer in the All American Girls Professional Baseball League and more importantly your mom.
I´m sorry for your loss and hope she enjoyed a wonderful life with you and her grandchildren.
Like many of us from Class of `70, I scan the obituaries and recognized the name - Bottazzi.
Wishing you and your family good health and happiness.
Mike
