Jeffrey J. Petruno, 64, of Hellertown, died Sunday, January 29, 2023 at his home. He is the husband of Letty L. (Kemmerer) Petruno. Jeff was born in Fountain Hill on April 10, 1958 to the late Julia (Svajko) and John R. Petruno. He was a Produce Manager for various food chains, including Acme, Redners and Weis. Jeff is a member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown and a 1976 Graduate of SV High School. He spent many years coaching Salisbury Youth Association. Jeff enjoyed bowling, golf, sports memorabilia and family time.

SURVIVORS: In addition to his loving wife of 38 years; son: Torey T. (Sarah E.) Petruno; grandchildren: Emma and Carson; brother: Mark G. (Dorothy) Petruno of Leesburg, FL. Predeceased by his brother: Richard J. on August 17, 1999.

SERVICE: Family and friends are invited to call 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2023 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street – Hellertown followed by the service at 1:30 p.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Letty, Torey and Family … my deepest condolences on Jeffrey’s passing. I always considered him a 2nd bigger brother and I appreciated that he and Steve let me tag along back in the day even though I was probably a little bit of a pain in the butt😉.
I remember that I was invited to my first concert in Philly with Jeffrey, Steve and Tommy Hagan, mostly because they couldn’t find anyone else to invite. Also, all the great memories of Leithsville Inn softball, Baltimore and Penn State trips.
Suzy and I are praying for all of you during this trying time. May God’s peace be with you.

My dear brother Jeff, you were taken way to soon from this life. You fought hard with your kidney problems but somehow you managed for the time. I know it was very hard on you and Letty. I will miss your picking on me on FB and miss talking with you. I know you are with mom, dad, Dick and Carol again.
