Jerome Greene Obituary
Jerry has always had an ear for music and a quest for knowledge. As a legacy jazz musician, he played countless instruments in bands across the map. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati, and as an educator he cultivated the students of several prestigious higher education institutions. He loved to share stories and his worldly experiences and will be missed by countless individuals who loved him.
His Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Joseph P.T. Smith on Thursday October 13, 2022 at 10:30 am in Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield, PA 18069. PLEASE NOTE: Properly worn facial coverings and social distancing with Zelda will be mandatory. There will be no calling hours prior to his Mass, and the family will receive guests afterward in the outdoor Courtyard of the Church. Entombment will take place in New Orleans on a later date. For those who wish to honor Dr. Greene with a memorial contribution, his family suggests a donation to The American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place Suite 170 Bethlehem, Pennsylvania 18017 online at www.cancer.org. Thank you kindly.
