Joan L. Judd, 69, of Richland Township, died Friday, February 1, 2008, at Hopice House of the V.N.A. of St. Lukes, Lower Saucon Township. She was the wife of the late Stanley S. Judd Sr., who died on August 8, 1999. Born in Springfield Township on March 26, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Charles M. and Helen M. (Mench) Pfeiffer. Joan worked as a seamstress in various textile factories and then retired from Lustig Meats. She was a member of New Jersusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Township, Richland Township Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Senior Citizens, and S.V. Community Center. Survivors: Sons, David S. and his wife Shelley D. of Kunkletown, Richard A. of Quakertown; brothers, William Pfeiffer of Quakertown, Earl Pfeiffer in Maryland; grandchildren, Shawn and Ashley Judd; two great-grandchildren: niece, Dawn Jackson; nephew: John Pfeiffer; great-nephews, Eric Pfeiffer, Dustin Jackson. She was predeceased by an infant son, Robert Charles. Services: Family and friends are invited to call from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown, followed by the service at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The interment at Union Cemetery, Hellertown, will conclude services. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at: www.heintzelmanfh.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hospice House of the V.N.A. of St. Lukes, 1510 Valley Center Parkway, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
