JoAnne M. Buzinski, 82, of Germansville, formerly of Walnutport passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021. She was the wife of the late Edward T. Buzinski who passed away in 2004. Born in Allentown on July 29, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Mary (Kroboth) Peters. JoAnne worked many years for the former DeVille Blouse in Danielsville, and also for Paris Accessories, Walnutport.

JoAnne is survived by a son: David T. Buzinski and wife Lori of Germansville, with whom she resided; grandchildren: Nathan & Jared Buzinski; sister: Nancy Hahn of Walnutport. She was predeceased by brothers: Ernest and Roland Peters.

A public visitation will be held from 11 AM to 12 noon on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington. Service and Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2024 Lehigh Street, # 100, Allentown PA 18103.

David & Family:
We lived on the same street for 50+ years with only a few houses in between. We will always remember the house parties and camping trips. Please know you and your parents will always be a big part of our childhood memories. I am so glad our moms were able to share a long, overdue phone call earlier this month. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

We were so sorry to hear of Joanne’s passing. She was a wonderful lady. We all have such happy memories of her. Remembering your dad and Joanne coming to our house for some of the Halloween parade with donuts in hand. All the wonderful times at picnics or get togethers. Memories of her will last forever. You all were blessed to have her in your lives. She loved you all so much. All you had to do was have one conversation with her to know exactly how she felt about her family. Rest In Peace Joanne. You will truly be missed.

Walking through the door isn’t the same anymore. Not hearing your voice asking how my day was is really different. Not hearing you yell at zoey to stop licking you is different. Everything’s different. I miss picking on you already. You were an amazing grandmother and my life will forever be different without you. We will take care of dad as you watch down over us. Many of my friends miss you as they all considered you as there grandmother as well. My mind is filled with many great and hilarious memories of you and I will forever keep them on replay in my head. Thanks for supporting me through everything I’ve done. From me and all my friends we love you grandma.

We were sorry to hear of JoAnne's passing. We remember her trips to New Hampshire to visit Dolly and Ed. We enjoyed visiting with her and Eddie, sharing laughs and stories. A lovely person with a little spice thrown in.

She was the best mother in law a woman could ever ask for. She always said that she couldn’t have picked a better daughter in law if she picked me herself. Well I can definitely say that about her. I couldn’t have picked a better mother in law if I picked her my self. I was truly blessed to have her in my life for 35 years. She always said she didn’t want to be a burden on us. I would never think of her as such. She was a kind and caring person and would help anyone. Yesterday morning, the day after her passing, I received flowers from her, thanking me for taking such good care of her. Hope you and dad are having the time of your life up in heaven. I will always love you.

JoAnne was more than a cousin to me, she was one of my best friends. At onetime I followed her and Eddie so close that I actually stepped on her prom gown and tore it. We both cried but my mom fixed it like new. Ever since JoAnne has guided me through troubles and listened to my complaining, never scolding me for what I said.
Her favorite saying was "It is what it is!" Larry and I will miss you so much and we pray you are sitting on Eddie's lap. Soar.....now you are free!
