Johanna Vollmann Obituary
Johanna Vollmann, a special, loving mother who was always patient and kind to all and lived by the principles of the Bible, passed away at the age of 94 on January 20. She was born in Deutsch Kaltenbrunn Burgenland, Austria, to the late Joseph and Julianna Zach and was the wife of the late Rudolf Vollmann. She had worked for various sewing mills in the Lehigh Valley such as the Keystone Dress Factory for 22 years and Liberty Knitwear for four years, where she retired from in 1970. She was a former member of St. Peters German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown. Survivors: Son, Rudolph and wife Patricia of Summerfield, Fla.; daughters, Erna and husband John Krevanchi of Allentown, Johanna White of Joppa, Md.; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; sister, Theresa Nossler of Vienna, Austria. She was predeceased by her brothers, Frantz, Rudolf and Joseph. Services: A visitation will be held 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 24, in Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave., Allentown, followed by a service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
