Miss our conversations and wild adventures. It's not the same having a one way conversation. When I enter the school I greet you. When I am down in the basement I talk with you as I look up the staircase I look for you and all I see are memories you left behind. Love and miss you buddy

John was a great guy. We were good friends since elementary school. Some might remember when we broke a guy's windshield throwing apples and walnuts from your front yard-we had to pay for it. God bless!

Although we lost touch over the years I will never forget the exceptional times that we had hiking the Appalachian Trail dozens of times, the full moon night hike from Stony Creek to Glen Onoko , camping at Bear Rocks in a blizzard, rock climbing at Delaware Water Gap and skiing at Camel Back. You are in my thoughts and prayers and you will never be forgotten. Ted Newton

I will always remember the things we did together. Climbing those incredible cliffs in Colorado, rafting the Pine Creek Gorge (at flood stage), and all the miles we hiked on the AT. You will be missed. Your friend, Steve Roma

My deepest sympathy to the family on such a great loss. Johnny D. or better known as Uncle John by the children, you helped watch over so many young ones for so many years. You will be truly missed by so many. I am thankful to have meet you way back when at LCCC in writing class. Our friendship blossomed over the years. I will surely remember all the time we shared together and hold you in my heart forever. Please watch over all of us my dear friend.

Love ya,
Debbie

I will deeply miss my cousin John. I have many fond memories of him. He was kindhearted and fun to be around. During my youth I spent a lot of time with him swimming, building rafts to navigate Cedar Creek, exploring abandoned buildings, and talking about the future. Would we, one day, be astronauts? Would we serve in a future war?
