Dear Sandy and Family: I was so sorry to hear of John´s passing. My mother and I treasured their friendship during those young growing up years; we were like one family. We loved Helen and Tony, John and Anthony, were like my brothers. They were the best people and we treasured their friendship; John was such a great man.
Our sympathy and love to you all, Carol Brezovec/Bass and my mother, Caroline Rauch (94 years old).

Sandy and family, Deepest sympathy to all of you on the passing of a wonderful, kind, and lots of fun to make blush man. We will miss seeing and talking to John at the cruises and when he visited us at our shop. We really had some great talks with him and Mike has known John for many years from Smith and Piefly. To John, Rest In Peace and keep driving that beautiful B5 blue Plymouth convertible till we all one day get together again. Prayers to you and your family.

Oh, my! This is surely sad news this morning. My deepest condolences to Sandy, family, and all the Mopar Madness Car Club. I had a vision and John carried it through for many years after I left. I am sure he will be in charge of God's classic car garage, they'll never run better or shinier. John, you'll have to start a new chapter of Mopar Madness in Heaven. Godspeed my friend.

Dearest Sandy, Chris/Betsy, Tom/Stephanie, Mikayla, Carina, Anthony/Jane and everyone in the DeMelfy families: My deepest heartfelt sorrow with the loss of John. Lamont and I always felt so close to you and your family from the very start in 1989. That makes 33 yrs of Mopar Madness and friendship years! We worked the cruises and we traveled to cruises and met many people along the way which are here today and those that have since gone home. So much history; so many memories we could have written a book but who had the time!!! I will keep on cherishing the good memories as I am sure you will too. We knew this time was coming and you are not alone. Take your time; grieving is a process. Remember that John not only enjoyed mopars but he also liked gardening, (flowers and vegetables). Remember the good times you had in the pool! Our loving Lord will give you comfort now and always.
Love you all and I'll see you soon,

Sandy Grim

Dear Sandy and family,
Vern and I are deeply saddened to hear of John's passing. We will always remember him as such a kind, funny, gentle man who loved his family very, very much. He was a true friend to my father and mother for so many years. We always enjoyed seeing and talking with him at any function (typically at a cruise) or casual. He will be greatly missed, though I know my dad welcomed him home with open arms! I'm sure the two of them are already talking about cars again.
Much love and condolences to the whole Demelfy family.
Sincerely,
Shelly (Grim) and Vern Scovens
