Since his Internship, in the 70's, Dr. Heid was always Pleasant, Caring and Compassionate; great qualities in a Human Being. Many people were helped by his Presence. Peace and comfort are my wish for all who are missing him today. Sue Kelsey [email protected]

As many others, and more to come, our deepest condolences on your loss of John. No matter what, professionally or friendship wise, he was always there giving his best. Our many boating, fishing and partying days bring the best of memories and Pat, Becky and Kelly share in those good times. John, may you rest in peace with handball, fishing line and boating with friends already gone waiting for you. Our memories join along with all of you. RIP

I first worked with John when he was an intern at Allentown Osteopathic Hospital back in 1975. I was a registered nurse on South 2. We got to know each other rather well. Eight years later, he called me and asked me to work with Dr. Robert Barnes and himself part time evenings in their office. It was a privilege and pleasure to be a part of their expanding office hours. Spent a total of 23 years working intermittently for East Penn Medical Practice over the many years. Those were happy experiences that I will always appreciate and enjoy those memories. Sincere condolences to Pat, Becky, and Kelly. He was proud of all of you. Sending love. - Dawn Peters, RN.
