John Kasunic Obituary
John Muskrat Kasunic,81, of Salisbury Township, died Monday, November 23, 2009, in ManorCare, Bethlehem. He was the loving husband of Annamae E. (Petko) Kasunic for 58 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Anton and Maria (Oswald) Kasunic. John proudly served his country in the Army as a medic, during World War II. He was self employed, working in roofing and siding for many years. He was a member of St. Pauls Catholic Church, Allentown. He also was a member of Eastern Salisbury Fire Company, Salisbury Township Firemens Relief Association and the V.F.W. in Allentown and Emmaus. John was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved to tend to his garden. Survivors: Wife, Annamae at home; daughter, Donna Diefenderfer and her husband, Chris, of Moore Township; brother, Anthony and his wife, Pat, of Topton; granddaughter, Kara. He was predeceased by his siblings, Elizabeth, William and Thomas. Services: private, at the convenience of the family. The arrangements are entrusted to Cantelmi Funeral Home, Fountain Hill.
