John P. Warnke

John P. Warnke, 51, of Lower Saucon Twp., died Friday, July 27, 2018 at the VNA Hospice of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Twp. He is the husband of Gwyn D. (Johnson) Warnke. John was born in Allentown on January 3, 1967 to the late Barbara L. (Miller) and Carl F. Warnke, Jr. John was a dedicated "Dad" all of his life. He worked at Lafayette College in the IT Department for 5 years, History substitute teacher in Emmaus where he also coached football. He was a member of SV Youth Sports Association as a football coach for many years; Boy Scout and Eagle Scout in NC. SURVIVORS: In addition to his loving wife of 25 years; children: Katelyn M., Mackenzee L., Nickolas A., Mason A., all at home; his furry princess: Sophee; brother: Eugene Carl (Colleen McGuire) Warnke of Bethlehem. Predeceased by siblings: Brian J. "Bubba" Warnke, Glen A. Meyers, Jr. and Louise A. Snyder. SERVICE: Family and friends are invited to call 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street – Hellertown followed by the service at 5 p.m. The interment will be at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
